How do I know if I am right for the programme?
Have a look at our mission in the opening page and the interview guidance page
If you feel you have the same aspirations as indicated, and can commit, then we are interested.
Do I have to be a British Citizen to participate in the programme?
No, we have non-UK citizens in the programme, however you must be resident in the UK for the duration of the programme.
Do I have to be able to speak Chinese to participate in the programme?
Not at all, the group is diverse, some are British Born, others have recently arrived from China and the Far East. We conduct all of our mentoring in English, so a good level of English, both written and spoken, is essential.
When does the programme start?
The programme will start once the vetting process is finished and coordinated once the candidates have been selected. We envisage this will be in September 2016.
Is the Programme free?
Yes! There is no cost for the mentoring. We provide training worth thousands of pounds, although as a Social Enterprise with limited funds, we are unable to provide funding for travel.
When is the programme deadline?
The application deadline is 1st July 2016, depending whether we meet our requirements.
How is the selection process made?
Please consult the applications guidance page for more information:
How many participants will there be in 2016/17?
Quality always comes above quantity, but we envisage up to 20 participants in the 2016/17 cohort.
Do I have to do a video?
Yes please, it is the best way to give the opportunity to showcase your personality rather than just having a CV. We will be assessing hundreds of applicants and we want to make sure we choose the right one!
