Are you any of the following?
- an ambitious, talented leader, with a strong interest in the Chinese/other diaspora and international relations and want to be a leader in your chosen field of work/society?
- possess a strong sense of social responsibility and a track record/desire to contribute to civic society?
- play a part in changing society and the world?
Then this is your chance of a lifetime.
The Diaspora Emerging Leaders Programme, founded by Lord Wei, the most senior Parliamentarian in the EU of Chinese descent, and his management team of co-founders, is a one year scheme to train, support and connect the leaders of tomorrow who want to help shape the 21st century.
Could you be a possible participant? Whether you are a recent graduate, a professional or entrepreneur in any sector, background or subject, and share our values and aspirations, we are interested to hear from you.
We conduct the training and mentoring sessions outside of working hours as much as possible and we want to support your existing careers with bespoke mentoring and guidance. In the first cohort, we have already helped GB athletes, award winning entrepreneurs, bankers, consultants, civil servants, authors and fashion designers and we aim to do even more this year.
If you have what it takes, you will be mentored by senior figures in the highest reaches of commerce, industry, government, philanthropy and charity. You will also work with fellow emerging leaders in your cohort and with our alumni to create social enterprises with a view to providing long-lasting and sustainable solutions. You will also join our exclusive alumni network and have access to wonderful opportunities to accelerate your leadership potential.
By harnessing the strengths, resources and skills of the global diaspora, we aim to create a powerful network of people committed to positive change as the world embraces the opportunities to tackle the challenges that come with the rising East and South.
The application deadline is 4th July 2016. To learn more and apply, please go to the applications guidance page
